Doug Turnbull SAA

I was  looking at this 45 SAA today...it is pricey and quite beautiful ...and a sweet action...

The owner makes no bones about it he said the base gun is Uberti  (it has no maker marks or proof marks )
It is marked Turnbull and has a raging bull in circle on the left frame....

I seem to recall Turnbull used USFA frames ( but may produce his own now)
It has no date code , I suppose I could write Doug Turnbull for a Cert. of Manufacture...

Major,  Turnbull produces their Open Range revolvers using USFA parts, available only with the cross pin frame.  I recently sold mine due to not being historically accurate.  However, Turnbull will finish most any gun for a price.  I know that Cimarron offers a Frontier Six Shooter with a Turnbull finished frame.
