Finished this one this weekend.  It is a ranger-belt for my grandson, Wasabe.  Yes we know it is correctly spelled Wasabi, but an initial mispelling has stuck.  He tells me he likes it.  He helped work on the belt and is now interested in leather work himself.  He has made a few of his onw projects - collar for one of the dogs, bookmark for his grandmother, key fob for himself, etc.  Next will be a jerky pouch to keep him supplied while shooting.  The belt is my first.  I used a Will Ghormley pattern and lots of reading here and wherever I could.  Again it is not perfect, but Wasabe is thrilled with it and I am pleased with the result.  Wasabe should shoot his first match with it in a week or two.  As always, will appreciate any suggestions for improvement.

Very nice! I know your Grandson will be well pleased. Wish him luck with his first Shoot.

We look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks for the additional kind remarks.  We are now working on a "scout" or tapered belt, again using Will's patterns.  This one the grandson will use for shotgun and cartridge slides, to be worn above his gun belt during SASS shoots.  We purchased a shoulder and a strap cutter.  We cut it out tonight.  He will tool tomorrow and then we will dye, assemble, and finish.  Goal is to have it for a match next weekend.  We may try to add shotgun and cartridge loops in the future to replace the slides, but for now he is happy with slides.
