Uberti (Sharps) pepperbox mainspring

I have a Uberti pepperbox with a broken mainspring.  Numrich has none.  Any idea where I might find a replacement mainspring?

Good try, but no cigar.  Dixie only has one screw available.

Somewhere I think I heard it could (?) use either a stock or modified Remington Pocket revolver mainspring?  Maybe?

No, that was wrong.  I can now tell you that that particular model was actually made by IAB for Uberti, among others.  You might have to search for another complete gun.

S&S looks promising.  I emailed them to ask if their spring will fit the Uberti replica.  I found a spare S&W J frame mainspring in my junk drawer;  I may be able to rebend it to make it fit.  Awaiting a response from S&S....

Bought pn JA118A from S&S (see link above).  They warned it would require some fitting; tweaked the spring and trimmed about .10" off the length.  Test fired and it works!  Thanks for the help.
