100-150.00 for just the gun, with box and poster 250-300 with box and poster,do you have the 36 shells? This book was published before Tombstone came out also as it has pics of the movie in it.Somebody wanting that one would surley pay at least 400.00  :)

Nice darn set! I'll give ya 35.00,that's a profit.... ;D

Thanks for your generous offer but I'll pass. LOL

It has all the shells and it is all original. The box is even in great condition with little wear. When I bought it (back in the late 70s early 80s). I remember the guy had about 5 of them all in the boxes like this. Looking back on it now I wish I had bought them all, but at $15.00 a pop, I couldn't afford it. I was just out of high school and my job didn't pay me a great deal so adding this to my collection was a major pay out of my wages.

I'll upload some pictures of the bullets/shells that it uses. The back of the wanted poster is the diagram and instructions on how to load the gun with caps and how to shoot it.

When I was a kid I had a bunch of cool cap guns. Lost them all when my parents divorced. I still have a few that I collected after that though. I have an old gun that is a radio that you push a button and it turns into a machine gun. And one of the old Secret Sam briefcase guns with all the parts intact.

I also collect movie props and stuff. Some knives from movies (the rhino head bowie from Dracula) and Star Trek phasers. Yes, I'm a geek.  8)

Before i got into the real ones i had cap guns every where and also had a little antique booth. The one you have is pretty rare i would say.Look on ebay under already sold and see if you can get values that way.Put a very high reserve on your and see what it goes up to,might be a little risky though..You and me both,i collect everything,i got my Mares Laig for 150.00 nine years ago and won it by 1 minute, wife got me that one for xmas that year.Do a searc for mares laig on ebay and the rifleman gun,you rarely even see them and when ya do they are way up there, but there is one for sale there right now for 99.00 i couldn't believe it!

The gun in this pic is exactly like mine, note the lever,he used two different styles, the other was the tear drop lever.

Bud's gets them from time to time http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=Rossi+Ranch+Hand&x=0&y=0 though at the moment they are out. It is a gun that to be honest never interested me but have handled and shot one in 357. Fun just not for me.  ;)

I'm not really interested in selling it so I'll just snoop around ebay to see if there is anything like it out there. I knew it had to be worth something cause a guy at a gun show a few years back was foaming at the mouth when I told him I had this one. I also have two very tiny guns that shoot blanks that are cuff links. They are break top single shot pistols and they are cool. I've never fired them and they have all the blanks and original case and all. He wanted that too. I guess I'm just a horder with better taste. LOL

I notice that the pic of Steve with his mares leg has the loop like my Rossi one. I guess I always thought that the tear drop one was the TV one but it's nice to see that it was done both ways.
