Holiday in San Francisco.

In May Lady Lis and Me went over to the States to visit San Francisco. In 1996 we were in S.F. just for 1 1/2 day, so we decided we're going back some time. In this year we did for 7 days. We had a great time, have seen a lot of interesting things, met our Pard Arie, visit the De Young Museum and walked "The Bridge".  Maybe we will go back for a longer time. We lost our heart in San Francisco.

I have always found San Francisco to be a beautiful town. I hope you had the opportunity to visit China Town.

When the dot coms were booming and money flowed like water I kept getting sent out to the Bay area for various company shindigs and glamour school, I would bring my wife for the weekend and we particularly enjoy visiting at a couple of restaurants, two particular shops, and the Ten Ren Tea company.  We have made some wonderful "long distance friends".

Grew up at granpas house,when i was little he had pics (black and white) hangin on the walls,GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE!!! Man when i grow up i'm gonna go see that GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE!!,i thought as i would stand there staring at them,well had an uncle that lived in Napa Valley,ma and pa says one day.were gonna go vist,i was blown away,i am gonna go see the GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE!!! I was antsy on the way there got to see the restaruant off 99 freeway with the airplane stuck in the roof,that was awsome next is the GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE.we made it, we are here,there it is ....................................The old rusty red bridge....................

Ain't got no use for that city Granpa had pics of the fire falls at Yosimite another wonderous thing i wanted to see,they took it away by the time i got to go too.... i've about had all of California i want..

Wife and i went back for another shot at it,she was right at 9 months and ready to drop my duaghter.We walksed all over,ate,got to see some Red Skelton art,went back to the car ,went for my keys,NO KEYS!!! THERE THEY ARE!!! Inside the car,it was one of them god awlfull Pacer cars,you know the one that could hall a cake and a giant sub sandwich~~~~~And that one came out with anti break in glass all around it...Cost me 80.00 to have a guy come out and get then in five minutes,i think we had 15.00 to get home again..We never went back.. I have to say it was a bueatiful place and the frsh crab was awsome,but that city did not want me there,phhhhhhhhh! Still ain't a speck of gold on that bridge,after travlin down the Golden state freeway,in Golden California,gold everywhere but i ain't got anmy!!!

Joe, you should have stopped by for a visit.  I'm only about 750 miles south of San Francisco.

Sorry, Tom. we're in S.F. by foot and walked a lot. No time to pick a airplane to L.A.   Next time   we'll think about visiting you.   Greetings for Shawna.
