If I recall correctly, Stumpy was the beer abuser in the "Tailgate" episode.

I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Joyce (AnnieLee)

The details are fuzzy, Arcey, but if I remember correctly, Stumpy let the beer drain right out on the ground, he did!

;)

I like a hoppy beer so Arrogant Bastard Ale is my favorite there. I enjoy Microbrew beers and find The Blind Tiger in Topeka, KS and the Free State Brewery in Lawerence, KS are top dollar...If you are ever in Fort Worth stop in at the Flyin' Saucer in Sundance Square...75 beers on tap and all high dollar in quality...anyone who drinks a Bud or a Coors there must be a from LA..."get a rope!"

Marshal'ette Halloway

Dark beers are way to heavy for me and taste like something that was scraped off the cellar walls.

I'm a lightweight drinker when it comes to beer...(Shush up Marshal Halloway.. :-X)
I like a smooth Mexican beer with a slice of lime and salt..and in a bottle please, no cans.
But if I'm kickin' my heels up at a country dance.. give me a Bud light fresh out of the cooler.. suits me fine. And after a day huntin' birds...
nothin' better than a cold one on the back of the tailgate of the truck, jawin' with friends.
((But..aaah... I manage to hold on to my beer, Camille))  :D

oh yeah~ one more thing...

They were sponsorin' some kind of contest that required entrants to have sex in a public place, the prize awarded to the most daring. That's a bit too edgy for my taste.

Yeah, had an idea 'n I think I couldah won it.  Ran outtah beer 'fore I got 'er drunk 'nuff ta try it..................

No you didn't run outta beer Arcey~~ Heck Fire.. you took second place...
Anyway that's what I was told down at the general store the next day.

Dark Beers are the nectars of the Gods!  The darker the better!  If I have my choice between dark, heavy, or light ho hum...dark wins every time!

Get drunk and have sex in public?  Oh get real!  I don't even have sex in private!  I walked away from that time waster years ago!  Ain't been back shince.  Not figuring on going back either!  For me that would be a total waste of time and energy.  Time and energy that I can spend being more productive and accomplishing things!

With apologies to all the Irish pards....... Anything but Guinness Stout. Also, there used to be a beer called Gluicksteit (sp), came in a green bottle........Instant headache.

The absolute worst beer I ever drank was West Bend Lithia.  It was made in West Bend, Wisconsin and considered a good beer.  Not by a long shot!  It was ghastly!

Actually I drive a 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle that I bought in 1973 and I live in the Seattle area.  The 51 degrees comes from the old Raniier Brewery that I used to visit on occasion.  When you visited the tap room the attendant told you that 51 degrees is the proper temperature.  Near where I live is the Red Hook Brewery and the tap room attendant tells the same about beer temperature.  I have sampled the same beer at different temperatures and the 51 degree tastes the best.

As for the Triumph.  I have owned and driven two of them   A TR3 and an TR2000.  Both good cars, but typically English.  You spend more time under the hood....tinkering than you do behind the wheel driving!

Hi again:

This summer in Spain is being very 8), very  8) hot and for these days so torrid, there is not anything better than a light, blond and cool, cool beer. ;)
We have also our own beers, made in Spain. We have light, strong, and very strong beers, with a high level of alcohol. I drink normaly beers with a strong taste, :P but in these days I prefer drink light, as the mexican "Coronita".  :D :D

  Spanish Marshal

Having spent a couple months in Spain and a couple years plus in Germany I came to the realization that the spaniards drink more beer than the Germans do.  That is... at least the students do  ;D ;D

The Coronita to which you refer is known to us simply as Corona.  We know "Coronitas" as little bottles of Coronas.  I too like to drink Coronas.  I also like dark beers, but what I don't like is the american phenomenon called: "micro-brew".  For the most part they share the same taste undertones that taste is not pleaseant.  As for imports?  Well, I won't disgrace the memory of the fine beers that I've had oversees by drinking something that was brewed for the american market but stuck with the same labels.  I've tried but been disappointed every time.

The WORSE beer I ever drank without a doubt is made in Pittsburgh, PA. and was called "Iron City Beer".  The locals called it swamp water! ;) :D
