It has been discussed many times  doing by slots or sewing by hands...now the question is: how do you do this with a sewing machine....and what pressure feet will work, does it expose the thread in the bullet loop? or do you need a back tack machine for this...Hope this is not old thread stuff...been new here...lots of good info...I skid off the planks at leatherworker.net....thought I stay here a while...

Thanks

There are a couple of commercial videos available that show small segments of machine sewing gun leather, if interested I will list them with a small synopsis.  You might also try doing a search on thet utube thang as they seem to have something on everything now days!  When I was hand sewing bullet loops, I actually used the common machine zig-zag pattern under the loops and literally pre-punched everything before starting.
