They were making the BP frame but I don't recall which ejector rod they used. You can get the bullseye ejector rod from outside sources and install one yourself. The BP frame is being discontinued again but they might still have a few(?). You'll just have to call and see.
Yes, I do have more facial hair now.

Colt does list a bullseye ejector rod head for $55 in their 2011 Custom Retail Price List, a pdf document, found at:

Colt also does list a black powder frame .45 Colt SAA in their 2011 Retail Price List, a pdf document found at the same web address above.  It is stated to be available in 4-3/4, 5-1/2 and 7-1/2 inch barrel lengths.

We discussed stainless Colts and hard chrome on an older thread.  This thread is more current so I'll post here.  Finally got the hard chrome models I ordered last December.  If you look you can also see they have the wide spur hammers.  Now I have to decide if I can afford to keep them.  Luckily I have several people that will take them off my hands.  There is apparently quite a backlog on hard chrome.  Very durable, won't wear like blue or nickle.

Boy Howdy-Love Mine too.....Glad I got mine ordered early before they
run out of the BP frames. I've run thru about 500 rounds & carry as my
fav CCW gun without a scratch....wears like a tank ! Love y'r wide spurs.

NOTE FOR SHERIFF OWNERS-NO EJECTOR
A real benefit to the hard chrome is the empty shells fall out of the cylinder
with ease...REALLY SLICK...No need for ejector thru about 50 rounds.....

Why did they put wide spur hammers on them? Are they reaching out to the "gamer" crowd?  ???

Why?  Because I paid extra for them.  The second sentence is phrased as a pejorative and really doesn't merit a response.  (Although if you ask nicely I'll tell you the answer.)

The way you phrased it I thought it was standard on this chrome model. I never knew you could order a "Fanner Fifty" hammer from Colt.  :D ;)  Relax Pettifogger, you know the NCOWS people like to razz the SASS crowd sometimes.  ;)
