It's been 2 1/2 years since the original post and you still aren't shooting WB? Come on, Hedley, it's lots of fun, let's get with it! Here's my personal WB holster plus another I made for someone else.

Yes Slim, it has been.
But I still work every weekend so I pick & choose a handful of annual matches to go to, and WB isn't high on my list.
Personally, I don't believe it should be offered at any CAS match. Just put it on it's own weekend and rock & roll all day.

Hedley,

It is a blast.  I hadnt shot a 1911 since 1980 to qualify to carry one.  Turned in the one I had as was a department owned gun.  I went with the RIA tactical as I am a lefty, so I shoot modern category.  Did you forget that the 1911 was one of the standard carry arms for the Texas Rangers....It is a side match not to directly compete with a Cowboy shoot, or western 3 gun. SASS did it, I believe,to bring more people into our sport.  Now look as a direct result how many manufacture's are bringing them back. Lets face it how many cowboy shooters have a 1911 somewhere in their safe?

There are some really great holsters showing here. I guess I'd better toss mine in, too.

This one's a Frazier, too.

WOW, almost 2,000 hits so far.  I would say we are showing off for lots of folks here so keep them coming.  Probably more first time WB rigs to be sold than for any other cat. out available.  I think we get one or two WB shooters at our regular match perhaps every month or so.  Not really sure because they do not really stand out that much, particularly if dressed cowboy rather than military.

add a couple more that just came off the bench.

What a Cool Thread, seeing all of these great looking holsters. Now I can post a picture of one of mine.
