I'm sure glad to see Ruger has come out with a 1911.  Can't wait to read the reviews on it.  I'm sure I'll end up buying one.  I've never really cared for Ruger automatics but I've always been a 1911 fan and one built by Ruger has got to be a good thing.

There have been plenty of reviews already.  One was done on this very website.  You can find others on the Glock Talk forum under 1911's.   I just picked up mine yesterday from the gun store.  They are very hard to come by right now since they are so new.

I've had the chance to shoot one.  I'm not a fan of all their products, necessarily, but they did good.
