Just moved to Thornton, CO a little bit north of Denver...Any one out there shoot BPCR or other long range activities near here?

I was in Connecticut where long range doesn't mean quite what it does out here...so I didn't shoot my 45-70 that much.

Now that I am out here, I am looking to do more long range as well as CAS.

Go to bpcr.net and look at the clubs listing. They shoot creedmoor and sillouette and either Byars or Watkins about once a month.
A little further to your north is the Alliance Ne club.(www.alliancerifleclub.com) They shoot long range and buffalo matches, lever gun and 22 monthly, and there's two big shoots annually. The Midwest Championship was Mothers Day weekend, and the Sagebrush Match will be in early August.
Then its just a hop skip and a jump south to Raton and the Whittington Range.
Coming up in June is the Baker MT. Big Hill match, followed by the Quigley Match in Forsyth Mt on fathers day weekend.
August will also bring the Wyoming Territory long range match at Rawlins.

There's a plethora of SASS clubs within a hundred or so miles of you.

Forgot to add there is some longrange type stuff over on the western slope as well, but you should be able to find info on that at the bpcr.net site as well.
