That is a wonderful job! Its something I was thinking about doing for my Ruger 3.5" Vaquero for concealed carry. (I have a ccw)..
Thanks for the link to the spring.

Any tips about making this sort of holster? What weight leather was used to cover the spring? I would think the rest would be about like doing other standard holsters...

   Thanks Driften, I used 8/10 ounce veg-tan Wicket & Graig leather for the holster and cup, and 3/4 ounce for the harness, glad you like it, this is one fast set up, getting your gun out is lickety split. ::) :o 8)
