I'm considering building a leather powderflask or two. Question is, will Brewers Pitch work to seal it internally or should I try something else? The seams I plan on at least double loop lacing.
The first step of becoming a good shooter is knowing which end the bullet comes out of and being on the other end.

I have never made one, but I do know some fellows who have made leather bottles.  They use saddle stitches and put a double row.  Truthfully at that point it will hold water without leaking, at least until the leather is saturated.  One uses bee's wax, the other uses brewers pitch, both are water tight and will carry an appropriate amount of liquid indulgement.  Hope this helps, and am looking forward to seeing the end result.
