Well dag gone it,your holster set is Bueatiful, the first time i ever saw sting ray was the time our friend KT gifted me a set that he made,i just think they are incredable and one of my prized posessions! Wanted to show them but waited cuase you did such a nice job on yours also, that stingray ain't cheap as i have learned and i love the set KT gave me,to me they have a native american feel or look to them..Had to take them out of the safe to go along with this thread.
Thanks KT,i would have went through life never knowin about stingray ;) These stay under lock and key!

Thanks everyone mighty kind of you!

As far as rules on metal, I didn't know there was any! The leather I used in these is so heavy that there is no need whatsoever to have metal on the body of the holster. At least not for the way gamey way I shoot anyway. The metal is just in the upper bend to help retain the shape you wnat in regaurd to the distance and angle away from your body. It also keeps them rigid so there is no movement when I'm running from one shooting station to the next. I'm by no means an expert I just did what works for me.

Thank you also for the comments on the video. All of that is new to me and I think it's a great way to show your work! They say a picture is worth a thousand words well then a video is worth a million!!! LOL

Here is my new website if you would like to check it out www.coltfaro.com Don't forget to check out the "Rattlesnake Wrangler Youth Sponsorship Page". It's a real cool program that we need lots of help with.

Thanks again!

Great looking leather and a really nice web site, you are truly very talented and thanks for sharing. As a side note I just received the latest makers and sellers flyer from Tandy and it features the stingray skins as on sale this month.  On sale at 9.99 for the black 7 1/2" X 15" skins.

Here is a video on the entire rig and matching bullet pouch.
