Have the two rifles on the top of the page (link below) had action jobs/short stroke kits? I'm new to CAS and want to get my rifle purchase right the first time. http://www.taylorsfirearms.com/products/cf1873Winchester.tpl  Any recommendations on any other rifles on that page? Thanks

I won't swear on it but I think that it's just the design ie the short rifle with the 18" barrel that they are crediting to Cody.  I think that the action is standard Uberti action.  Call Cody, he'll tell you all about it, he's a very nice guy.

I talked to Cody and decided to buy from him.

You won't be sorry.  His customer service is second to none. ;D

Camille and Grumpy Joe,

I bought a Codymatic about a year ago ... and he took a .45 and fixed it so that it shoots
.45 Schofield.

And so far, he has had the best kind of customer service .... NONE ... he did it right the first time and I have not had to pay to send it back to the left coast ... not to mention the missed shoots .....
My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...
