There will be a Long range SASS match at the Texas Ten Horns
in Greenville Texas the 2nd Sat. of every month-All sass rules will
apply-targets from 10-45 yards will be set up.Bring your long barrels
and have fun with these challenging distances!

These are fun matches. Been to both and really enjoy the greater target distances. Have yet to have blood drawn from bounceback lead. Those who are around East Texas should give it a try.

I shoot NCOWS too Trap over at the Texas Peacemakers from time to time and enjoy it. Thanks for your reply though.

Extreme SASS was created by the officers of the Ten Horns who disaffiliated the Ten Horns from NCOWS to try to retain those shooters who enjoyed shooting targets at the greater distances associated with the NCOWS matches the Ten Horns hosted when that club was affiliated with NCOWS.   These "Extreme SASS" Matches do not meet either SASS or NCOWS standards.  The targets are too distant for SASS recommendations and NCOWS outlawed firearms are permitted to be used.

If you want to experience the real NCOWS, The Berger Sharpshooters is the NCOWS posse that shoots at Jacob's Plain Gun Club.

We welcome both NCOWS shooters as well as SASS shooters to our Extreme SASS matches. You have been given incorrect information Cole. Our revolver, shotgun and rifle target distances are all within the SASS recommendations they post in the RO manual. SASS rules apply so yes, you are correct that some of our shooters are using firearms that would not be allowed in NCOWS.
