I have a ROA with the R&D conversion cylinder in 45 Colt. After a few shots it the cylinder becomes sticky when cocking the gun and requires assistance with the other hand. Any help or suggestions on how to correct this would be greately appreciated.

Are you shooting black powder or smokeless?

Either of two problems, or both, can cause the cylinder to bind.  The cylinder base pin can be getting coked up and binding.  The face of the cylinder can be getting fouled and dragging on the back end of the barrel.

Use a good black powder lube and a bullet design that hauls plenty of it, like the PRS or J/P 45-200 and it will help keep the fouling soft so that it blows away.  When cleaning your ROA, lube the cylinder base pin well.

I shoot a brace of ROAs FCGF style.  Shooting GF doesn't allow any room for balky guns.  My Kirst Konverter cylinders keep on turning freely thru complete annual matches with no need to clean to maintain accuracy or function.  Same goes for the same brace of pistols when I'm shooting them Frontiersman with the C&B cylindeers.  And, yes, I do shoot C&B GF style.  It's a hoot but you have to have complete confidence in your pistols.

I had to assume you were shooting black powder in your pistols cuz Ruger writes black powder only on the guns. . . .

Yes I am shooting Goex FFg with a lyman 1:20 250 grain bullet lubed with spg. I will try lubing the base pin and back of the cylinder. Thanks for the advice.
