OT? Whats happening with W3G

Pard, I don't know about Florida and Oregon, but they shoot once a month in Piru. The second Sunday for 6 fun stages. I wish I got there more, but health issues and now gas prices keeps me from having a great time with fun folks.

There is one club up here in Orygun that I know of that shoots it once a month weather permitting. They have had an annual "West Coast Championship" in the summer but they do not post their scores so I have no idea how many participants there are. I heard about 30 for the championship but can't confirm that. I think the W3G folks were hoping to improve upon SASS rules and get a money game going as well as sell more speed to the shooters. I like the idea of knockout target centers to reward accuracy and painting targets between shooters for more accurate scoring. The rifle shooting on the move gives me mixed emotions because to me, it really doesn't look at all cowboy to be running along with a rifle glued to your cheek while you flick a short stroked lever and spray lead like in a Star Wars movie. My 2 cents.

Rumor has it the local Central Florida W3G has hung it's hat..... attending shooters were getting fewer and would they shut down due to the heat in the Summer.

The only Florida pard that I have shot with that I knew was from Florida was Weewahootie. He has been coming to World Cup.

I can't remember the aliases of all the pards from Orygun that come down for World Cup, but Loden B Kwik and his wife Norma Lee Kwik do. I'll remember the others later as I usually do. 

I can't wait to retire and shoot with them and all around both W3G and SASS. That is my carrot on a stick.
