After I picked up my first pseudo Richards conversion, I thought it would be years before I would find another one. I was hoping I would so I would have a brace of them for "maybe" some future competition. While visiting another sight I saw an old "WTS" posting and what the heck, Emailed him. Darn he still had it along with a holster and 4 boxes of Black hills ammo. Two weeks later and it was in my hot hands.   ;D  I really don't know if I would use them in competition and if I did it would not be serious. Those days are long gone.  :(  The first two photos are the new one and the third shows them both. The new one is unfired. Even though they are not "true" Richards conversions for me they pass just fine. The only differance I can see between them is the first one, serial #64, has a silver front sight and # 4180 has a brass one. Both have silver plated trigger guards. The box I do not believe is original to this gun. It is a blue one. The end sticker says "1860 Army Conversion Cal .38 Colt  BBL 8"  S.N. 6180  HG 38-90-24". I think they will work just fine. Now maybe some imitation ivory grips.  Man, we got shades of "Last stand at Saber river" comming up.

Nice!  Reminds me of Captain Algren (Tom Cruise) shoulder holster gun in The Last Samuri or Ramson Stoddard (James Stewart) gun in Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.

Nice looking pair.  I have the 44 Colt twin to yours.  Looking for a second one myself.  Actually know where one is, just need to come up with the funds.
Knowledge is to be shared not hoarded.
