Does anyone have a source for stainless steel Blackhawk hammers?  Thinking of replacing the ones on my New Vaqueros.

Thanks,
Jake

They are scarce since SASS declared them legal in Vaqueros.  To get them you have to log onto Brownells or Midway and look them up.  Then check on them EVERYDAY.  They will say, out-of-stock, out-of-stock, out-of-stock, etc., and then suddenly "in-stock".  Click order right then and there and don't wait until the next day as they will once again say out-of-stock for the next week or month.  Also, don't worry about stainless v. blue.  They are the same material, the "blue" merely has a highlight on the upper surface, the sides are bright.

What Pettifogger said.....

What I did was order them from Midway.  They were backordered so I purchased anyway.  I ordered a pair in blue and a pair in stainless.  About 6 week later they showed up.  Mine required a little work to smooth out the sear engagement. But I tell you, my poor arthritic thumbs sure said thank you after I installed them.
