Does anyone happen to know what Ox Yoke Wonder Wads are lubed with?

I'm gonna guess they use Wonder Lube 1000. I have no idea what is in it.

Don't know . . . . don't care . . . I used them for a bit the first year I was playing with my "new toys" ( ie. cap & ball pistols).  I found them a waste of money.  And . . . if a cylinder was left loaded the lube contaminated the powder that would then go "poof" instead of "BANG".     :(
Beware the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it.

Here's what I recommend if you want to use wads. I have nothing against wads and use them myself sometimes. However, I refuse to pay ridiculous & inflated prices for them. Here's a link for either 500 or 1,000 untreated wads and you can lube 'em yourself with your choice of lube:

I wonder why they cost so much>

I cut wads from a paper-pulp egg carton with a 3/8" punch for .36s, a cut off belted mag case for the .44s, and lube them with melted BP lube

I found this on two different web sites  (Traditions web site, Kittery Trading Post web site):

"100% wool wads, lubed with all-natural WonderLube1000 Plus™."
