My good friend and artist John Cohea made my son and I some knifes. Tha dagger is mine and the other my sons. My son shot a deer and sent John the piece of antler and John was kind enough to use it on the knife. KT
Cheer up things could be worse, sure enough I cheered up and they got worse.

Holly Molly!!
That is a no doubt about it beautiful bit of work !!

I have a question.
I've seen this many times, and have always wondered why is the sheaf on an Indian era knife so much larger than the blade of the knife?
Does it have something to do with the material the sheaf is mad from?
Thanks
Biscuit Joe

KT, those are beautiful. I would be hard pressed to choose which one I like better. John did a fine job on those knives and the sheaths are a good compliment.

Thanks guys!Glad you like these KT! One thing worth mentioning, the dagger is one of two knives I used in the filming of my second video,"Advanced Rawhide Sheathmaking", due out in April!

That's cool, John. Both knives are excellent pieces and would be good examples for your video.
