Well the wife broke down and told me what I will be getting for my birthday, a new computer.  I am not sure when it will arrive as she is getting it custom made to go with what she perceives as being a leather working shop machine.  It is supposed to have one of the newest Adobes in it and work wireless with the new 11x17 copy/scanner.  HMMM I wonder if my bed will show up in the shop next??

I would never get any work done if I had one in the shop. Just need to stick with the sterio out there. Now a bed out there with meals served would be alright

  I've got most everything else in my shop, and wouldn't mind having a PC too, in fact that's a great idea Bob.

Thanks guys, it seems to be a pretty nice laptop and should hopefully allow me to work in the shop as wireless.  One of the guys who built the shop is supposed to run some underground cables to it in the summer, if I dig the trench.  I have invited the grandson to come up but he thinks it is about learning leather.

Wow...great present...I have a dedicated laptop for the shop...but keep it on the kitchen table I haven't unpacked the printer yet...someday...anyway have fun with it

Very cool gift. You'll enjoy that one. Assuming you have power to the shop, you can plug in and let it run all day on various things.
