The photos below are of a piece I picked up a little over a year ago for about half of what it was worth.  It was originally a General Patton Commemorative, based on an older Uberti SAA.  When I got it, it was dirty, most of the silver plating was black, and one of the very cheesy grips was chipped...and the hand spring was broken. It originally had a lanyard ring, but I removed that and made a polished, nitre-blued plug to replace it.  I replaced all of the screws with a new set of hardened screws from VTI gun parts, then I polished and nitre blued them.  After repairing the hand spring and doing an action job, it sat for almost a year until a few weeks ago when I sent the grip frame off to Bar-S grips for a set of their "slightly aged" Tru-Ivory grips.  I got them back a few days ago, and the grips feel great.  They are contoured like a set of Colt First Generation grips.  The pictures don't show it well, but this material looks just like real ivory, complete with grain structure and contrast, unlike most faux ivory which is just white plastic.

Overall, I am happy with it with two exceptions.  Like most older Ubertis (and Colts, for that matter), the chamber throats are oversized.  The should measure around .453".  These average .456"...so I will never get great accuracy out of it.  Secondly, since it is silver plated, shooting black powder loads are out.  Right after I got it, I tried it...once.  Needless to say, the sulfur from the BP turned the silver plating BLACK.  THAT was a lot of fun to clean up....  Anyway, I got a good-looking engraved SAA for about an EIGHTH of what a similar Colt would have set me back.  I can't gripe about that!
