Primer Containers?

Yeah, we have seen and made or replica and custom ammo box labels. What about primer box labels and other primer containers?

When out on the trail did the cowboy carry boxed primers for reloading or did he keep them in some sort of tin container?

A lot of early metallic cartridge primers came in round tin boxes of 100 and 250.Most of the ones I have pre-1900 are in tin boxes,the cardboard containers seem to be a product of the post 1900 production although I have some Frankfort Arsenal production for the .30-06 in tin containers circa 1910.LOL One day I'll have a camera and will be able to post pictures.

I have a percussion cap tin from CCI that I am using for now for my WLPs
