I sure like mine... Fit and finish is great!

It will really flatten a whitetail too,

Freedom, what did you use for a load to bag that deer?  I have the same gun and I love it. I have only gone to the range twice to sight it in but I need to do more work with it. I got mine to hunt small game and  coyotes and fox here in Wisconsin.  Because of my health problems this fall I will not be able to hunt. But there is next year. Dennis.

Did you know that Pietta also offered their case hardened frame Remington New Model Army in the Sheriff model as well?  Two models in fact.  One had a Fluted Cylinder and the other a regular Cylinder.  The regular cylinder case hardened Sheriff model was available from Marr Starr in Canada before our great leaders decided that import from Canada to the U.S. was a no, no.  The Fluted Cylinder variation was offered by EMF but no longer.

I use 25-30gr of 4ffff  and a .457RB for my hunting with my remingtons.... gives me right at 930fps.

I always get myself attacked when I post this... but I have worked with the Ballistics techs on it so I know what the pressures are and they are still plenty safe... much lower than 777 and Pyrodex. ;)

The only difference between the colorcased remington and the blued remington is the colorcase.
I could be wrong but I believe the colorcase used by the Italians is Cyanide Colorcase which is a "real" colorcase, it's just not Bone Colorcase. The Colt and Remington factories used Bone Colorcase.
