I need a little help with holsters that will not hold my 2 USFA Rodeo's securely. I ordered the holsters from a dealer and they turned out very nice BUT they don't hold the guns in when I bend over or run to my next shooting spot. Don't need the DQ for dropping my pistols. I am thinking of putting a hole in the holster just in front of the trigger guard area and inserting a screw rivet to tighten it up enough to securing the gun, or is there a better way? I have "NO" knowledge in leather crafting so I am hoping someone out there can help.

Thanks

I would recommend a second row of stiching to tighten the holster around the guns.  A local saddle shop should be able to help.  Not seeing a picture of the holsters I am not sure if thats possible without affecting the stamping if any.  Post a pic if you are able.

Welcome to the Leather Shop Mark :D

Like AC suggested, a second row of stitching should take care of it, the holster maker that made them for you should take care of that for you, if these holsters were made for quick draw, then they were meant to be loose fitting, but if not for CAS, you want the gun to draw smoothly, but to be held firmly when it's in the holster, having the maker do the adjustment will guaranty you will get the same thread and color also. IMHO....

Thanks for the info. I'll try to contact the Manufacture and see if they will add or restich the holster. GunCliick Rick, not sure how to go about wet molding and with my knowledge of leather work (you fit it in a thimble) I would not want to try that.If this wont happen I see if I can add something inside to try to make them fight somehow.
Thanks again for the comeback
