I have found that a full case of powder in my pistols isn't always the most accurate load, same with my '73 winchester and my '60 Henry. Of course if you're only playing SASS games accuracy is pretty irrelevant. ::)

AE. Yes, it is repetitive. BUT we have new shooters unfamiliar with the structure of the forum, unaware of the wealth of information in the "Dark Arts", and simply ask their questions. I for one do not object to providing this repetitive information because I remember not too long ago I was the "newbie".

I'd agree with that, but if you ever see one of the top shooters shoot when the targets are freshly painted and not covered with lead splatter, you will invariably see that they hit em' plumb dead centre, so obviously they have worked ont he accuracy issue as well.
All my cowboy gun's calibres start with a 4! It's gotta be big bore and whomp some!
