Looking for a Long Scrap of 6-7 oz BLACK Leather approx 50" long by 7/8" wide ..

Having bought a side of leather already to make this holster, I now find that I need a scrap 7/8" by approximentally 50" to make the bullet loops ... in BLACK leather no less.

Tandy would LOVE to sell me a whole side of 6-7 oz leather just so that I could get this scrap ....

I could get you a plain one, don't have any in black. Don't you have to dye your holster anyway?

A plain one might work ... I bought the leather for the rest of the holster pre-dyed and was hopin' to match ... but I have black leather dye and it would probably be close enough a color match ... I mean, black is black ....

How much would you want for the strip?

Skip, I'm prety sure I can help you out with veg tan. It should not be a problem to dye it black for the loops. I have 3/4 and 4/5 available. I'm not sure what will calls for on his patterns, or what most people use for 38--45 loops.
