I have a 1851 frame but no barrel.  How can you tell if it was made by Pietta or Uberti?  I cannot find
any makers marks just the proof marks and year it was made.  Is there something I can measure?
Thanks

Story

I've got a Navy Arms (Pietta?) marked barrel in .44, if you figure out what you've got.

I have found out by process of elimination that it is a Pietta.  So now I need Pietta .36 cal. barrels.
Thanks
