Muster at Hanging Tree: MO Division Championship: please indicate if coming.

In cooperation with the Central Ozark Western Shooters it gives me great pleasure to announce the 2010 MO Div. Championship, the Muster at the Hanging Tree.  On October 17th, safety meeting at 0845, shooting to begin at 0900.

This will be a match within a match, as part of COWs  annual  "Shootout at Hanging Tree" Match. This match is a one day, 6 stage match on a multi bay police training range, with obstacles, cover, plenty of movement, and a catered lunch.

All GAF catagories will be recognized. GAF members will be organized within their own posse,   if numbers allow.  Further information will be posted here as it develops.

Cost is  $25, includes the meal.   Non shooters pay $10.  There is no preregistration, show up, pay and shoot

Round count is 50+ rifle, 70+ handgun.  There will be must hits and knockdowns.  Please indicate here if you're planning to come,  for planning purposes.

In addition to the round count above, at C.O.W.S., our usual side match at the Hanging Tree Shootout is a "Last man standing" match. It is shot one on one, each racing to knock down their set of targets first. So if you want to shoot it, it requires 1. single action revolver and 1. shotgun, either SXS or Mod 97 will do. It's a double elimination match, so if you want to shoot it, bring PLENTY of ammo for the pistol and shotgun. Some of the knock downs can be sticky, so Mouse Phart loads will be a definate disadvantage.
