Tensleep brought his Handi Rifle in 45-70 to Round Up with him for me to shoot in Long Range rifle.  Very sweet shooting gun with the fine rounds that Arcey loaded for it.  First time I shot it I hit with the spotter round and then got 5 out of 5.


Heck I liked it sooo much that Stump just ordered us one.

Yup, they're l'il dandys.  Easy ta get.  Real simple.  Trigger job consists of cockin' 'em, puttin' a l'il pressure on the hammer 'n pullin' the trigger 'til it fits yer taste.

The one Cammy shot started life as a .223 crow killer.  Had the 45-70 barrel stuck on it when I got inta Cowboy.  Sold it ta 'Sleep when I bought the Buff Classic.  Thinkin' it was the first or second Roundup I got Long Range Rifle caliber with it.  Looks like it's won two now.

Now that Pungo has moved to Wakefield, we got a hunnert meter range we kin use, if we don't sink in the mud.  Rooster is resightin' the Buff.  Gonna start loadin' 45-70 in Black.  Lookin' forwerd to it.
