I happen to be a contract inspector for the State and it don't work that way >:D   The paving foreman really doesn't like me make him go and set up a rolling closure to clean-up all of the truck droppings outside of the project.

Wolfgang, I know about checking my load from experience too, It is embarassing to get to a site and have the 2000 gal tank empty because you forgot to check that the valves were all shut ::)  But it was not as fun as heading to the rendering plant with four bovine leggs sticking up above the sides of the dump bed ;D

I do blame some of the spillage on the harvester operator who overloads the truck to be able to move to the next field that much sooner.

OR? OOOOPS!!!!! ;D

SALINAS, Calif. (AP) — A helicopter has gone down on a busy California highway in Salinas, sending its pilot to the hospital and snarling traffic.
The California Highway Patrol says the helicopter landed upside-down onto Highway 101 shortly after 6 a.m. The crash happened near Salinas Municipal Airport.

CHP spokeswoman Officer A. Paulson says the pilot was able to walk away from the wreck but complained of pain. He's been taken to the hospital for evaluation.

No one else was on board.

The pilot told authorities that he had been towing water, which spilled onto the road.

The helicopter remains in southbound lanes of the highway, blocking traffic as the Labor Day weekend approaches. Paulson says one southbound lane reopened around 7:45 a.m.
