This Thread belongs to our newest SSS member Bernie.

From Bernie:  I finally got a hold of my daughter-in-law and she is trying to smarten me up, so I will try this post. Two Flints said to include a picture of my Spencer Carbine and my Spencer shotgun serial #18122; Carbine is serial #35441. Two Flints said that it may have been issued to I Company Third Michigan Regiment Volunteer Cavalry in June of 1865.

Mine has some deep brand like indentations and I am wondering if anyone else has that deep brand like indentations. I will try to show it in the photo. I tried to send the photos to the SSS site and it won't take the files. They are too big. I paired it down to two photos and it still won't take it. So I will try to send you this message on my personal email.

Bernie
