Major 2

This might be more appropriate in the Movies thread, however I believe Remington fans will find this
interesting....

I've seen Sgt. Rutledge with Woody Strode & Jeff Hunter several times, last time was years ago.
This is the first time I noticed the really nice  31 cal. (32 Conversion) Nickel plated thin plate Rim Fire revolver.

In the flashback as Strode is testifying to the Murder of the Major, The revolver is shown then the cyl. is pulled revealing the thin
plate also examined showing it's cutout for the Firing pin.

This 1960 John Ford film, sort of a different departure for Ford casts Woody in the title roll.
Even with it's rascal over tone Interesting for 1960.

GunClick Rick

Always loved Woody Strode, what was the name of the movie he was in where a Capt from a fort or something left awall and became like a trapper, then the army asks him to lead Strode and some others on a mission. The capt finds his wife strung up and skinned in thier home. One of the lines was Apaches don't scream when they die,so when Woody falls from a cliff he doesn't scream..Man had to be back in the 70s..
Bunch a ole scudders!

Major 2

would that be The Devil's Backbone ?

I actually had job on a film he had a part in "KET WEST"
