           Skeeter, I use Tandy's Satin Sheen, to get a duller finish, not totally mat but close.

1) Bag Kote thinned 25% with water or 70% rubbing alcohol = wipe on failry heavily, rub it in and while still wet LIGHTLY wipe of any excess

2) Fiebings Harness Dressing - one of my current favorites

3) Gum Trag can also make a nice soft luster top coat finish...
