Would this be possible?

 Could a '92 Winchester be refitted to chamber and fire the .500 Special round? SAAMI lists the max pressure as 38K psi, which is similar to the pressures found in .44 Magnum. Is there enough rifle there? The magazine, and barrel, would most likely need replacing. I am not sure if there is enough room width-wise in the action though.

Anyone who knows the action on these have any thoughts? Or am I better served to buy one of those model 89's and have it custom built to my wants?

I know Rossi made them in .454 cassull and .480 ruger. 
they threaded the mag tube into the reciever and added a henery style loading port.
other than that the rifle is up for it.
