Just got this from our club Pres. in Victoria, "Teacer C"

A number of shooters have expressed interest in an RO II course. Cariboo Lefty has offered to hold one at the SASS Canadian Regional on the Thursday morning

Shooters at all SASS affiliated matches will benefit greatly from the increased safety awareness level stressed in this course.  Please encourage all eligible members to attend.

Course Outline: The RO II course provides range officer training in stage timing, safe stage design and posse marshalling. Curriculum includes both classroom and practical instruction. Those who have taken the ROII in the past are strongly encouraged to attend the course for a free refresher. There have been rule changes in the last few years.

Prerequisites:

    * Successfully completed SASS Range Operations I (ROI)
    * current SASS Membership to receive certification
    * Recommended that registrants have been active in Cowboy Action Shooting for a minimum of 6 months.

Assistant Instructor: TBA
Date: Thursday, September 2nd, 2010
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Course will finish in time for a break before the Warm Up Match at 1:45 p.m.
Location:Long Horn Saloon, Boom Town Courtenay Fish & Game
Cost: $20 payable at course
