OK, so I'm feelin' like I really need a Bull Dog  pocket pistol. Just kinda like the lines of it. So I did a search on here and read all 9 pages of returns and learned a few things about 'em.

So, one thing I learned was that Webley used two words, Bull Dog, as opposed to Bulldog. So if the top of the frame is marked "The British Bull Dog", is it a Webley or did some of the other many copiers also use this spelling? Kind of a "Deringer/Derringer" question.

Also, is there a source for .38 S&W BP ammo? I don't reload myownself, and probably won't actually shoot it enough to bother.

Thanks,
Hard Mouth

If it is a Webley it WILL say Webley on it. I have a real Webley and 3 or 4 copies. They all look cool but I don't consider them safe to shootuch as they have piss poor cylinder lockup on all of them. If you really want one I could be persuaded to sell one or 2.

Howdy Slim,
Thanks for the offer, but I b'lieve I'll pass for now. Had my eye on one on GunBroker yesterday. My, My, it was purdy. All engraved, 98% nickel, aged ivory grips,,,,,  Ended up goin' fer more than I was willin' to pay, acourse....

Still lookin' for BP .38 S&W. Got a ol' breaktop that's hungry.
