Hello the camp!
I'm putting together my camp equipage for the muster, and I found an authentic aluminum coffee pot from the 1900  period.  The problem is that the percolator basket is messed up.  I need one that's 4 1/4" across and 1 3/4" tall, with or without the stem.  I've been striking out for months in the local thrift shops and e-Bay.  Hopefully someone here has one they would be willing to part with.  Thanks!

I will do some looking.  I have one that is aluminum that is aproximately that size.
It is in the semi trailer storage unit that got hit by high winds (maybe small twister) on Father's Day and got laid over.  I will be going through that stuff this weekend.
If I have it---It's yours...Provided it has the right dimensions for you.

Dale:

I found the old aluminum coffee pot in the trailer.  It got smashed when it was upset.  The strainer, lid & stem are now crap too. I threw them both in the aluminum can recycle.

Funny, there was also a antigue glass coffee percolator in there that didn't get broke.

I will be in LNK this week.  So I'll look in some thrift stores.
Hey, another place to look may be a scrap yard.   Check their aluminum piles.  I have seen them there in the past.  I'll check Beard's if I get to Auburn this afternoon.  I have your dimensions.

Good hunting, Trooper,

Thanks, Gregg!
Sorry to hear about your trailer.  I remember back in the late '70's we lost a sheep shed to a tornado.  It shook the house pretty hard, too.  (We lived five miles North of Steinauer.)  Of course, the upside to that episode was that it was the first step in getting rid of the sheep!  Thanks for the help!
