If your going to cut a dove tail usin' a Rem site you may want to try a Euroarms front site as it's a lil' narrower base than Ubreti , then Pietta.
Do you want to just extend that cone or acorn Navy site? Or do you want it for windage also?

I had Flint do a pair of Opentops for me.  He did them quickly,the cost was right, and they looked great.  He has a milling machine and it looked a lot better than any hand cut dovetail I had  done in my muzzleloading days.

They had round barrels which presents problems to me.  Gunbutcher had lent me one of those Wheeler cutters, but I chickened out.
