GOLD PANNING UPDATE

Went out to pqn a bit of dirt today, and boy was it good. I got at least one piece outa every pan except two. I was happy and was about to call it a day. So, thought I would do one more pan, and I swirled the water and the material washed back and there in the center of the pan was the THIRD biggest nugget I have gotten in the Azusa Canyon. It was moon shaped sor ta a quarter moon. Man was I jazzed. It was one of the best days panning I have EVER had. This could become a habit.

Okay... we need an update Curleys....   I want to know exactly how rich I will be once I get back home and start some panning again.. lol...   did you get out again yet?

Don't be spendin it too soon, the gold I am getting is fairly small..I mean it is bigger than what I waz getting but still small.
However,
I got my stuff from Alaska today and even got a free locket to hold gold nuggets. very cool.

I will try and get some updated pix soon.

DV we will try and find you a good hot spot to find the yeller stuff.

Hey, Curleys.. I can have fun with a bucket of sand lol..  I don't care about the gold.. Really just the laughs.. life is meant to be lived, not invested in.. lol..  So hey, we can pan all of us, and then cook out or all of us go out for dinner.. it will be fun.. I do not care bout the GOLD just laughs and having great converasations, those are gold to me.. I am not just wanting to meet new friend and enoy the west.. thats all.. lol...  Give me a gallon jug of water and let me dischange my gun and I will be happy.. lol

Today I went to a coin show. Got a 1/10oz gold eagle for my grandsons 10th bday, got my self a Krand and when I got home a bag of Alaskian gold dust was waitin for me. Will try to show results..so far lot of small stuff..

Here is a locket I put together for GramaPhyllis, it is part East Fork and mostly Alaska gold. I think She liked it.

The nugget I think I might name Irving. Pretty good size. Wish I could say I got it up in Azusa Canyon. It is from some Alaskian material. Hope ya like it.

PS:  GramaPhyllis broke the clasp on the locket pictured above, and she was all upset. She really likes wearin it. I think she likes to show off the gold that I panned.....

I finished off the "rich" bucket from the canyon, and now the stuff I am workin is not nearly as rich. way more gold-less pans than I am used to now...

They had a whole bunch of stuff there at a new jewelry store opening,elmeralds everywhere,gold cups and chains.I gave the gold back to the guy and tried to run off with the girl I told her honey you want treasure come wid me

That's up at the Merced River goin the bacl way into Yosimite through El Portal,i think it was after that summer that it flooded and washed alot of stuff away,it's an awsome river man.
