Howdy,
Does anyone know how to time these things?  I acquired a Remington Elliot 4 BBl Derringer that was missing the hand and the link that connects the hand to the trigger.  I found an assembly drawing and made the parts to fit.  The rotating firing pin indexes at 12 ,3. 6, and 9 oclock (usually) rather than 45 deg further around the circle.  Was there some kind of stop to make the firing pin stop at battery.  There seems to be a deep center punch mark on the recoil shield hat may have had something to do with this.
