Here is a knife I forged from an old rasp.  The handle comes from a very old(50+ years) elk antler that was saved from a house fire.  I made it without a sheath because the owner wanted to make his own.  His Wife does some very nice quill work and she is going to decorate it.  The blade is 7 1/2"and the handle a touch over 5".  Hope y'all like it.

Messerist beautiful job, He should be more than happy to get a knife like that. I know I would. KT
Cheer up things could be worse, sure enough I cheered up and they got worse.

Very impressive!  THAT is a true work of art.  Did you take pictures of your work while you produced the knife?  I would love to see how to make something like that.

Messerist, that is a beauty. I love the way you left the rasp pattern in it.

If you can please post a pic of the sheath when the lady gets done with it. I would really like to see it.
