The machine may come ready to sew, but the operator is another matter.  ::)

It ain't easy, that's for sure, but I've no doubt you could become a pro with this baby AC.

It surley will take practice, The price on this is less than a Tippmann Boss.  Thats why I was looking for someone that might have experience with this MFG.

This appears to be a medium duty machine as compared to the 3/4" presser foot clearance machines most holster/saddle makers seem to be using.  Take it from someone who knows first hand, machine sewing can have a pretty tough learning curve for some of us while others will take to it like a duck to water.

AC here again...this machine is similar in design to the Ferdco, the Cobra, the Artisan, etc.  only this machine has a smaller thraot opening...probably around 8 to ten inches.......Ahhhh I re-read the specs...it has a 10.5 inch arm clearence.  Go into the Ferdco site or the Artisan site...or for that matter the Cobra site and they all have similar machines.  I have not had any feed back on the Techsew machines..so I will not comment on how good they or are not.  Seriuosly...look at these other manufactures sites and you will get a good picture of what these machines will do

It is just the economic solution or beginner of leather works.  If you expect perfect stitching on your leather project, you can consider Cowboy Model 7441 (fine replica of Juki TSC-441) and 7205 (interchangeable with Durkopp Adler 205-370.

Freedom

Just a thought but IMO the 1/2" presser foot clearance is not near enough for holsters :-\.. I know most will fit but things will be tight especially if you do any lining or seam welts..
