Chamber Block

Several years ago, I bought a Miroku 1886 rifle that came with a chamber-blocking device (see photo). It fits into the chamber and uses a special tool to expand to make a tight fit. Without the tool, it would have to be pounded out from the muzzle, which would be difficult at best.

The nice thing about this type of safety device is that it is not visible from the outside, so the gun can be displayed, but cannot be loaded until the device is removed. It provides safety at home and, if the gun is stolen, would make it more difficult to be used.

I'd like to find more of these for my other guns, but I can't seem to come up with any. Does anyone know who might supply these in different calibers?

This is a very nice little safety device. Anyone have any other ideas of where I can search for these? I'm usually pretty good at finding things online, but I'm striking out on this one. The problem is that all of the key words I can think of are too common and lead to lots of unrelated hits.

I hadn't heard of them before, either. They should be relatively easy to make, though, maybe even from chamber plugs like these:

I'm going to bump this question back up in case some new members might know where I could get more of these. I don't have a great history of making things--I prefer to do my job well, get paid, then pay others to do their jobs well.

Has anyone seen chamber blocks like these somewhere?

Wow, thanks! I spent far more than five minutes on Google some time ago and could never find anything. I'm known among my friends as a guy who can find anything on the internet too (my job often involves getting info from the internet and I've gotten pretty good at it). I appreciate your help.
