1851 steel backstrap for MWNN

Was wondering if anybody knows where I might be able to pick up a steel backstrap for a Cimarron Man with No Name Conversion?
I saw that on the Buffalo Arms web sight they have a Cimarron imported Uberti Navy 1851 London model with a steel backstrap. Just have been trying to find a place that might have steel backstrap. Thanks for any help or information

I don't think Cimarron has any of those in stock.  You might try VTI.  Bear in mind that it might not be a good fit to your grip.

The steel backstrap (and triggerguard) is used on the Uberti London Navy and the 1861 Navy, try VTI.

This is exactly what I want for my 1851 MWNM. Maybe then I can get the rattlesnake inlays on both sides.

You can get the London steel tg/bs here. They are not cheap, They are askin $60 each, but at least they have them.

I think you can get the snake from Wildlife and Wonders.

Check thru Cimarron they might have it. I didn't look for that while I was in there.
