Hi I'm "REP1954" and this is my first posting here on the "Colt Firearms". I'm not a cowboy but just a sodbuster who enjoys fine firearms in which all Colts are. I guess the best way to to show my intrest would to be post some pictures of my Colts they are all 3rd generation guns. I tend to modify and change my guns to much and shoot alot so I leave the 1st and 2nd generation guns to the historians and collectors. I do love to read and admire the older guns though. All my Colts are chambered in 45 Colt except for the nickel gun is chambered in 357 Mag.

Hey rep, I like the backdrop cloth for the nickel 357. I'm kind of partial to red and it really makes the gun stand out.  Is it a rug or some curtains? I may have to "borrow" the idea sometime.  Thanks for the look, theyre swell.  Twitchy

The back ground is a heavy throw that gets put on furniture to protect it. My wife is a collector of everything and anything and picked it up at an estate sale.

Vaya,

Scouts Out!
A gentleman I worked with and for almost 25 years did the engraving. He came to the USA from Holland in the 1950's and was a engraver in the silversmithing industry. He became a machinist here and then started in tool and die. I was his apprentice when he started his own mold building shop in the early 1970's. This is no.4 of 8 guns that he did besides the 200 Bijaun Detective Specials.
