Hello SSS,

Just thought you'd be interested in seeing this ad that appears in the NRA issue of the American Hunter magazine, August 2006.  Sorry the text is not readable, but go to this link for a readable version:  http://www.americaremembers.com/Products/SCVCARBINE/SCVCARBINE.asp

Clearly, some folks never paid attention in History Class - but what good is actual knowledge when you're in the business of selling instant heirlooms?

That firm would've done far better by recreating the Richmond Sharps as their 'tribute collectible' - at least the Confederacy 'had' those.

What a silly idea.
If you want to commemerate the southern soldier I think an enfield rifled musket would be better.
But who would pay $2495 for an enfield, even "gussied up"?
