UPS just left and I now have two new Great Western II's and  an 1878 Hartford Shotgun ;D  I got the GWII's from their dents  and dings, although except for the boxes, I can't find any flaws. Imagine my surprise when the "californian" I ordered had the poly/ivory grips instead of the plain, but nice, walnut grips :o.  I don't know if I just got a good one, but the case coloring is pretty darn nice too, seems better than the uberti to me.  I know its the regular gun, not a Turnbull finished one so I am pretty happy as these are my first EMF/Pietta's.  The other pistol is one of the photo engraved versions which is also a lot nicer in person than photo's show in the catalog or on the website.
The Shotgun is pretty good to.  I was kinda concerned about the shorter bbl.s.  Would have preferred the 26inchers but they were out.  I know your not sposed to dry fire them, but I couldn't help snapping off a couple of "shots" from the porch at one of my roosters as he ran by.

Ten Wolves Fiveshooter

That's great Twitchy ;D

You'll really like all these guns, the GW2's are hard to beat as is the TTN Shotgun, good choices  ;D

You won't regret it. I have been a customer of EMF since about 1979. I have 2 Dakotas, 7 GWs, 2 75 Remmys, 1 66, 1 73 1 1892 and one of the 78 doubles. (as you can see I am a serious fan)

But seriously, they stand behind their stuff. Any problems, and it is taken care of pronto.

Would love to see some pix...

Thanks C.C., I am kind of "technologically challenged" but I am workin on being able to post some photo's.  I have to have one of my teenagers show me how. Ugh, pretty soon I'll be making "Dad" noises when I stand up!
